What to Expect?
"I am one with the farm, the farm is with me"
Denver’s culinary scene is amazingly diversified and there’s a really strong farm-to-table scene throughout the city. This means menus rotate often and our tastings change based on the seasons. You will make new friends, eat delicious food, laugh and learn as your local guide teaches you all about the Denver food scene.
The tour kicks off with a bang as your local guide shares the itinerary of amazing restaurants you will visit for the afternoon. At each tasting you will dive into the food/drinks and get an insider's view of how these chefs/owners are elevating the food culture and their positive impacts within the community #Denverlikealocal. As we walk between tastings you will visit some of the iconic landmarks ( ex. Union Station aka the living room of Denver), get the 411 on the local hotspots (happy hour is a big thing here), and learn interesting facts about how Denver went from a dying mining town to a booming metropolis. It's a fun filled flavor journey throughout the city that will leave you full of delicious food, and full of local knowledge.
+ What is a Food Tour?
A food tour is the best way to experience Denver. You’ll enjoy a delicious tasting at every stop, learn about the chef's/cuisine, and above all have fun!
+ What type of food is served on the tour?
Each stop is different. We have selected a great variety in our tastings to highlight Denver’s awesome food scene. Expect everything from new american to modern asian cuisine.
+ Where does the tour start/end?
Start: Indigo Hotel Lobby End: Union Station
+ Where do I park?
There are many public parking lots and parking garages near Union Station. We encourage people to take uber/lyft, public transportation or bike downtown.
+ Do you provide transportation on the tour?
At this time all of our tours are walking tours. The majority of the tours are about 1 mile in length with stops along with way.
+ What if I have food allergies?
Please let us know of any known food allergies (Shellfish, nuts etc) at least 24 hours in advance of the tour. Most allergies we are able to accommodate. Please see below:
*Celiac - Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate this dietary restriction at this time.
*Dairy free - We do have some sort of cheese/dairy tasting incorporated in all of our tours. We can try to accommodate an alternative tasting, however it is not guaranteed. You may have to forgo a particular stop if an alternative is not available that day.
*Highly restricted diet/many allergies - We care about you and your health. If you have many restrictions this tour may not be for you. Please checkout some of our Experience Denver Like A Local tours that may be a better fit.

+ How big are your tour groups?
Our food tours are small groups with 10 guests maximum per tour. Our walking tours have maximum of 15. *Please note a minimum of 2 guests are required per tour.
+ Are tour guide gratuities included in the price?
We are often asked — is it appropriate to tip our guide at the end of the tour and what a reasonable amount might be? While we have considered including such gratuities in the overall ticket price, we always come back to the belief that recognizing excellent service is a personal matter. Gratuities are welcomed and appreciated which typically range between 15-20%.
+ Do you allow children?
Children are more than welcome on our LoDo walking Denver Food Tour. Please see price listing for different age groups. It's a fun experience for the whole family.
+ Are the walking tours still held in bad weather?
Rain, snow, or shine our tours take place everyday of the week. Good thing Denver experiences over 300 days of sunshine. Just be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately.
+ I am a Local, should I take the tour?
Absolutely! Denver is a rapidly growing city where new things pop up everyday. We love to be a tourist in our own town and so should you!
+ Can I book a private group tour?
Yes, we do offer private tours. Please email us directly for more information on pricing.
