FAQ

+ What is a Food Tour?

A food tour is the best way to experience Denver. You’ll get the insiders scoop on Denver’s culture and cuisine. Depending on the tour you choose we will stop at a least 4 different restaurants, enjoy a delicious tasting, learn about the chef's/cuisine, and above all have fun!

+ What type of food is served on the tour?

Each stop is different. We have selected a great variety in our tastings to highlight Denver’s awesome food scene. Expect everything from new american to modern asian cuisine.

+ Where does the tour start/end?

Each tour begins and ends in a different location within Denver and the surrounding neighborhoods. You will receive a detailed itinerary on where to meet and where the tour will end.

+ Where do I park?

You will receive a detailed itinerary with parking options in the area. We encourage people to take uber/lyft, public transportation or bike downtown.

+ Do you provide transportation on the tour?

At this time all of our tours are walking tours. The majority of the tours are about 1 mile in length with stops along with way.

+ What if I have food allergies?

Please let us know of any known food allergies at least 24 hours in advance of the tour. Most allergies we are able to accommodate. Please see below:

*Celiac - Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate this dietary restriction at this time. We hope in the future to work with local restaurants that can guarantee no cross contamination.

*Dairy free - We do have some sort of cheese/dairy tasting incorporated in all of our tours. We can try to accommodate an alternative tasting, however it is not guaranteed. You may have to forgo a particular stop if an alternative is not available that day.

*Highly restricted diet/many allergies - We care about you and your health. If you have many restrictions this tour may not be for you. Please checkout some of our “Experience Denver Like A Local tours” that may be a better fit.

Gluten free by lifestyle - Please advise us 24 hours in advance if you are gluten free by a lifestyle choice (not allergic) and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

+ What if I am a vegetarian?

No Problem! We offer alternative tastings but please be sure to advise us 24 hours in advance of tour so we can accommodate your needs.

*Vegan- Unfortunately we do have cheese/dairy tastings in all of our tours. We can try to accommodate an alternative tasting, however it is not guaranteed. You may have to forgo a particular stop if an alternative is not available that day.

+ How big are your tour groups?

Our food tours are small groups with 10 guests maximum per tour. Our ghost tours and walking tours have maximum of 25.

+ Are tour guide gratuities included in the price?

We are often asked — is it appropriate to tip our guide at the end of the tour and what a reasonable amount might be? While we have considered including such gratuities in the overall ticket price, we always come back to the belief that recognizing excellent service is a personal matter. Gratuities are welcomed and appreciated which typically range between 15-20%.

+ Do you allow children?

Children are more than welcome on our Classic Lodo Food Tour. Please see price listing for different age groups.

+ Are the walking tours still held in bad weather?

Rain, snow, or shine our tours take place everyday of the week. Good thing Denver experiences over 300 days of sunshine. Just be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately.

+ I am a Local, should I take the tour?

Absolutely! Denver is a rapidly growing city where new things pop up everyday. We love to be a tourist in our own town and so should you!

+ Can I book a private group tour?

Yes, we do offer private tours. Please email us directly for more information on pricing.
